WORKSHOP 002 : Bead Nerd Basics 🤓 CHICAGO

Are you wanting to make your own wearable beaded bits and learn the foundations making of beaded jewelry? This workshop is for makers who want hands-on experience, expert tools, and all of their beady questions answered :)

This workshop will teach you the beading basics. You'll learn about materials, techniques and tools.

Location : LILLA BARN Boutique - 5535 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640

Time : 6-8pm

You’ll leave with at least 2-3 wearable pieces (more if you're fastttt!)

• elastic beaded ring
• elastic beaded bracelet
• bead wire bracelet

You will learn techniques like :

• bead stringing
• wire conditioning
• Threading needles
• knotting and crimping techniques
• the best materials to use, as well as options to practice with

I’ll bring :

• tools
• my HUGE collection of beads and charms in a range of different sizes
• stringing materials and findings (elastic, cord, bead wire, clasps)
• snacks / bevs
• BYOB  for 21+

You bring :

• Yourself!
• some friends
• any beads you have or broken jewels you may want to use or learn how to repair :)

TMI :

• This is a small group workshop (8 max) to ensure there’s plenty of room to play, ask questions, and dig through beads.

• Recommended for ages 14+!
